    I’m sure alot of you know what sparknotes is and have thanked the powers that be, that sparknotes was created. well this site is truly evil. i love referring to spark notes when the books i’m reading in school are confusing but seriously, anyone who is a frequent user knows that there are SO MANY articles on there that just draw you in. and then you look at you clock, scream, and realize that you came on this site for one reason and one reason only, and you have been there for a half an hour and not accomplished that one simple goal.
    the people of spark notes are just geniuses. evil geniuses. they have made a site that helps with school reading because they know that teens procrastinate. then they also make the site almost like a blog which plays off of that same procrastination. procrastination draws teens in and procrastination keeps them there.
    Evil. just evil.

    but other than that its a great site, and when you finally learn to have self control its a great place to waste time when you actually have time to waste.

    Have you guys realized how little drama has been on the Terces lately? It’s awesome! Though I have to say its much quieter on here without the drama :P but i guess its inevitable that there will be more at some point so we should enjoy the quiet. Anywho hope you guys enjoyed your first day of the new year!

    hey guys, i’d kinda like some feedback on this cus this is the first time i’ve drawn an iris like this. i want to know whether you like this technique for the iris or the other more linear way more (lots of examples on my blog if you have no idea what im talking about) just looking for creative criticism, thanks!

      Hey guys, SD is touching my computer and it is driving me nuts because I want to keep it in very good condition. And my new phone. I have issues!

      I’m trying to convince him that I can, in fact, touch electronic objects without VICIOUSLY MURDERING THEM like he is somehow convinced I will. So yeah. That’s why I’m doing it. And now he’s saying “That’s enough computer time SD! That’s enough screen time for today.”

      RAWR.

      Zach, how are you feeling now? How are your computer issues?

      I think the drawing looks amazing. How do you know when and which of those fancy pencils to use?

        uh its mostly just experimenting to see how the pencils look together and with each other. for this basically i drew a big circle with black charcoal and i colored it in fairly dark and then i used white charcoal over top of it to give it the gray-ish look. i also then took a tortilon and blended the white lines a bit and made sure it was blended alot near the pupil and the edge and then i added a bit of black charcoal to the rim and around the pupil and then blended it in a bit and i basically just kept alternating between adding black, blending, and re drawing the white lines.
        i also got the idea to use this technique from looking at pictures of irises online.
        but i really cant help out with “when and which” cus basically its just experimenting and instinct really, i just sorta know which pencils to use. i do recommend getting black and white charcoal pencils because you can do some really cool drawing effects with them

          *nods* Oh, okay. Well, I just use a regular pencil ’cause I have no idea how to use those fancy pencils and charcoal and stuff. But I shall experiment one day. I DREW WITH 90% CHOCOLATE TODAY!!!! Well, it wasn’t really a “drawing”. I just drew a few marks on a page to see if it would work and then it turned out to be “kid scribbles/drawing” of rain coming down on a girl and she’s melting. Yup.

      Mint. Peppermint. Candy canes. You know, the works.
      Nerds.
      Anything sour.
      Twix are nice.

      Oh gosh, I almost choked on a Snickers candy bar. They are SO sweet, I tell you. No…wait..I think…Oh yeah, and 3 Musketeers. Those two are SO sweet.

      Skittles are alright…they’re…plain. Not in flavor. They just seem plain to me. I think I’ve had the original ones too many times… :P

      Fun Dip is nice. Except I always spill the powder stuff. :mrgreen:

      I’m not really a big fan of Whoppers/Maltesers. Those things are too sweet…

      Oh my goodness, what I am I saying. Candy is supposed to be sweet. I have such a weird taste. :P

      AND OF COURSE CHOCOLATE.

        My weird taste in things:

        Peanut butter and bananas.
        Peanut butter and grapes.
        Peanut butter and scrambled eggs.
        Lemons. Just plain lemons. Eat them like oranges.
        Celery with peanut butter without the raisins.
        A certain type of noodles with peanut butter.
        I had bread with peanut butter and nutella this morning.
        Peanut butter. Just peanut butter straight out of the jar.
        Ketchup and peanut butter on sandwiches (of course with lettuce, cheese, and all that.)
        Avocados. Just cut them into halves and eat them. Nothing added.

        There are a bunch more, but those are a few. As you can see, I love peanut butter. :D

    so little talk on the terces….
    say something good thats gone on recently, or something that you’re excited about
    for me:
    its the weekend! *thank the power that be*
    i feel like i did pretty well on a math test we had recently
    i’m definitely looking forward to winter break
    and………hmm idk, life has finally been treating me in my favor (it probably got tired of all the hate letters)

      I saw Remember Me and 17 Again last night. 17 Again was eh. It had it’s good parts but it was too unbelievable as a whole and they didn’t even try to make it plausible. Remember Me is AMAZING. It makes me completely forgive Robert Pattinson for Twilight.
      I was medicated this week!
      I’m re-reading Elsewhere.
      Last night I had a dream that I was bike riding with Neil Patrick Harris.

      I’m kinda in my depressive cycle right now. Last night was really rough for me. I’ll be okay. I’m glad life’s treating you well. :)

      Something good? Excited about? Well…let’s see…it’s raining. What!? That’s a good thing, isn’t it? XD
      I’m excited about…the fact that me and my friends are going bowling and then going to the mall (eheheh, maybe bormalish but it’s not bormalish when you go into the right shops…) on the 22nd…the times are still being decided upon.

      I’m also excited because I’m excited because I’m excited for no reason wait there is a reason…is there? There’s always a reason…I should visit Lily…haven’t seen her in ages…my horse I mean…and not that was totally not an excuse just to see someone whom I will not name because even I shall be sick of typing it…

      TODAY I HAD VIOLIN. AND LATER I’M GOING TO TENNIS. ME ISH HAPPY.

      Um. Other than that, to be honest, I feel like crap. But there’s nothing I can do about that. So yeah.
