I WAS JUST READING OLD POSTS FOR WHEN JENNY HAD THAT THING TO TELL ME THAT I WAS FUNNY BUT NOT AS FUNNY AS NIGEUS.

I FIND THIS WAY TOO HILARIOUS.

    Favorite genres to write in?

    • Dragon Agent 3:40 pm on April 28, 2013 Permalink | Reply

Love, love, love writing!!!! Mainly sci-fi, fantasy, or historical fiction.

      • Agent SD 8:34 pm on May 7, 2013 Permalink | Reply

How immersed do you get in your research for historical fiction? I’ve been meaning to try but it gets a bit intimidating!

        • Dragon Agent 2:57 pm on May 9, 2013 Permalink | Reply

Too immersed. I won’t even go into detail.

    • violinplayer10101 12:14 pm on April 29, 2013 Permalink | Reply

Writing is my passion. *cue dramatic music* I like fantasy. And poems. And micro-fiction. And sci-fi. And mystery. Basically, I like to write the genres that I read. :)

Oooh nice! What kind of poetry do you do? Rhyming, verse, etc.?

    • Cami 3:34 pm on April 29, 2013 Permalink | Reply

I like writing realistic fiction mostly… I have no time to write these days! I also never have something interesting to write about. :( It sucks.

      • Agent SD 8:38 pm on May 7, 2013 Permalink | Reply

High five, realistic fiction buddy! Aww. :( Stephen King says, in regards to the no time to write thing, that if you really want to write the best approach is to wake up an hour earlier and dedicate that hour to writing. But that might not be the best idea when you’re constantly exhausted from school! Hopefully with the summer comes you’ll have more time. :)

As for never having anything to write about–I think everyone goes through a time where they get in ruts. The most important thing is to keep writing, even if you only have ten minutes a day, use those ten minutes to write whatever comes to mind. It’s important not to lose your writing skills! There are also lots of writing prompts online, I believe Writers’ Digest has some good ones, and there are also like picture writing prompts where they give you an image and you have to make up a short story that’s inspired by it. :) That’s actually something I’ve been considering doing on here for a while… Anyway, good luck, I hope you can write again soon!

I write random snippets and abandon them… nowadays i write random lengthy descriptions of things.

      • Agent SD 8:39 pm on May 7, 2013 Permalink | Reply

Ha, abandoning things is a habit I can’t seem to break. A lot of times I’ll be describing a story I wrote and then someone will ask to read it and I’ll just be all “Sorry, deleted it as soon as I wrote it.” XD

I do! I write, read, and live fantasy only. xD

I don’t really write, like at all. I have tried lots of times but I just can’t seem to..

I think I’m too British for an American. I just had to ask my mom, “What do you call primary school in America?” Because I forgot they were called elementary schools here. I LIVE in America, I should know this! XD

Bookmarking it… inspiring… and so true. People are too critical of what they look like, and this just shows it doesn’t pay to do that, because others see you differently then you see you.

    Who/what inspires you?
    What do you wish for?
I’ll probably be missing for most of the week–I apologize. School’s crazy and life’s crazy. It’ll be back to normal one day, I promise. I love you all. Hugs to everyone. <3

“We accept the love we think we deserve.” –Stephen Chbosky
What do you think? Is this true or untrue?

    • paperclip123 12:46 pm on April 11, 2013 Permalink | Reply

Definitely true. It’s human nature to want to be given what we think we deserve. And who rejects love, anyway?

“Second, while these stories are not written by J. K. Rowling (obviously) they, and other such stories, have been sanctioned by her, so long as they are respectful and appropriate for children. I have been in contact with Ms. Rowling’s literary agency (after they were asked by the press if the James Potter stories and websites were secretly her creation). They have been very cordial and encouraging, even going so far as to actively deny erroneous press allegations that Ms. Rowling intended to sue me. For that, I thank them! ”

Found this on a page of the James Potter Series site. :)
