In which people on the Internet are not serial killers
It’s horrifying how many bad stories there are about people on the Internet meeting each other. And I’m sure there are more good stories than bad ones, but the bad ones obviously get more attention.
Here are some good ones.
This is Mike’s hand with mine. We’ve met each other in the real world quite a few times, actually, but we did meet online first.
I’ve posted this one already–from when I met Cami.
This is my hand with Yodabatman’s (Robin’s nickname for him). SMALL BACKSTORY (since no one else knows him): We’ve been friends for about a year and a half now, and we met on GoodReads. He’s an awesome guy, and I’m so grateful to have him in my life.
Now this is the most recent one with *drumroll* … ROBIN!
We met a few days ago, along with our GoodReads friend, Daphne (who’s hand is also in the picture). They’re fantastic–and not criminals! Which is a good thing.
I’d like to take this time to say thank you, Internet. Thank you so much for introducing me to my wonderful friends all around the world. And a big thank you to everyone on this website for being such awesome people. I don’t know what I’d do without you. <3

robin I’m guessing your hand is on top right?
Agent Rose 8:28 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
Whos yodabatman?
Zorganoth 8:29 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
he’s from goodreads
Zorganoth 8:30 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
i seriously am regretting losing my username and stuff for my goodreads account
Robin 8:43 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
You could just create a new account, Tori.
Rose-Yodabatman is one of SD’s online buddies. They met on another website, Goodreads.
Yupperdoodlies about my hand. You can see a bit of the scar from when I nearly cut off my pinky.
Zorganoth 8:51 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
haha yeah i think i might. and seriously i can tell who’s hand is who’s just by how it looks and the personality of the person. like the rings and which fingers they were on are a dead give away that its your hand.
violinplayer10101 8:52 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
Hello.

violinplayer10101 8:55 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
How are you today?
Zorganoth 8:59 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
i don’t know. my whole week has been kinda messed up lately. so more of a combination between, sad, worried, scared and a bit hopeful.
but i don’t really want to talk about it, i came on here to get my mind off of it.
how are you?
Robin 9:02 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I’m sorry. That sucks.
I have a Phantom of the Opera song stuck in my head. / random
violinplayer10101 9:02 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I’m okay. Normal. I think.
Robin 9:02 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I’ve never been normal. ;D
violinplayer10101 9:04 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Really? I haven’t noticed!!! OH MY GOSH, ROBIN HAS NEVER BEEN NORMAL!!! OH MY BOSCH!!!!!
Robin 9:08 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Someone call the press!
Zorganoth 9:09 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
violinplayer10101 9:10 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I have to go, sadly. DREN!!!
Robin 9:11 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Lates!
Agent SD 2:57 pm on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Sorry, Tori.
Robin 9:01 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
It also connects to my arm, which leads directly to the person wearing Converse and has a messenger bag with Spiderman on it. XD
And SD is always the ‘Wotcher’ bracelet.
And the last hand leads to the arm of the person in the wheelchair.
PROCESS OF ELIMINATION!
violinplayer10101 9:03 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
Hmm…why are you wearing rings?
Robin 9:06 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
Why not?
violinplayer10101 9:08 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I don’t bother wearing any jewelry except earrings because it bothers me because I have the urge to take them off. And some necklaces make my neck itch…I do wear a bracelet that I never take off though…
Zorganoth 9:10 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
i wear a chocker around my neck that i never take off. is black and says my name
Robin 9:11 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Rings help me keep my right and left hands straight.
XD Just kidding, but that’s always what I tell people.
I agree-some necklaces do itch. But some don’t.
Like people. Some people stink, and others don’t.
violinplayer10101 2:05 pm on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I also wear a watch. And I don’t change my earrings that often because it’s a bother.
Agent SD 2:59 pm on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Every day I wear the same bracelet, necklace, and pair of earrings. XD
Robin 10:32 am on July 7, 2012 Permalink
I don’t really wear earrings. I have quite a few nerdy necklaces that I wear.
Zorganoth 9:04 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
honestly i didn’t look at all of that. i did notice that you had spiderman keychain but i thought SD liked spiderman. so i honestly didn’t use process of elimination. and I’m sorry about daphne! was she in an accident or has she always been in a wheel chair?
Robin 9:06 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink |
She was born with cerebral palsy, I believe. Correct me if I’m wrong, SD.
Zorganoth 9:08 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
ok, yeah honestly i just looked back in the picture and noticed the wheelchair. and i didn’t realize you had converse on, cus i wear high tops (chucks as i refer to them) so i always look for people wearing high tops when they say converse
Robin 9:09 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I have one pair of high tops, but they’re white so I obviously wouldn’t wear them to the city.
I have two pairs of low ones. I like the way they look with shorts better. I think high tops look better with jeans.
Zorganoth 9:12 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
yeah i agree. but there is a way to lace them so that they look good with shorts.
i draw on the white tips of the converse, they all say my name cus it has an even amount of letters so when i put my feet together my shoes spell out my name in a weird arty way
Robin 9:17 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Nice. I’ve seen people Sharpie doodle theirs and whatever.
I always lace ‘em leaving the top eyelet empty and then tying them inside so you can’t see the knot/bow. Then the tongue sticks out.
Marvel makes high tops. They’re really cool.
http://www.journeys.com/product.aspx?id=218067
I want a pair of Chameleon Circuit ones.
Robin 9:19 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
I lied. They’re DC.
Zorganoth 9:21 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
yeah i’ve seen those and I’m actually a DC fan and not marvel. i lace mine up to the top and leave the bow out when I’m wearing skinny jeans, and with shorts i lace them up and leave the top two holes unlaced.
Zorganoth 9:23 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
the joker ones look cool, though i really want a pair of black high tops that are those ones that go up to your knee. those are just awesome
Robin 9:44 am on July 6, 2012 Permalink
Those kinda scare me, actually. I don’t think I could ever wear them.
(Time) Lady, Estelle 8:28 am on July 10, 2012 Permalink
My sister paints high-tops, And I’m going to paint a pair with a TARDIS, bowtie, and the lyrics to white and nerdy sometime soon. Maybe even draw eleven on the toes of one and ten on the other. /random
